Help

I don't understand the layout of your website

The new web layout may look confusing but its actually quite simple. Individual webpages are classified underneath different headings-you'll know which heading a webpage is part of because it will be after the slash at the end of christianaid.org. Not all of the webpage headings are featured below the searchbox, just the most popular catagories. If you are having trouble figuring out how to reach a particular webpage you can always go to the sitemap which lays out every major webpage in clear catagories.

What's with the box at the bottom of all your news stories and projects?

We have placed links to many of the most popular social networking sites as well as buttons to email an article or convert it to optimize printing all in one convenient location.

I can't find my favorite article on your new site

We have decided not to transfer the bulk of our old news articles to the new site and have created a news archive page which keeps stories published in the last two years according to todays date.

I know the cause I want to give to but I can't find where to Donate

You can give by accessing the Donate Now page which has links to specific long-term causes as well as the Shopping Basket which has replaced the Give Now button, or you could just click on the basket icon in the upper right corner of the webpage, right next to the search engine.

Why Create a New Website?

There are several reasons why we believed it was appropriate and beneficial to create a new website. Some of these reasons include:

  • Our old website was built using software that is now outdated and in many cases no longer supported by major web browsers.
  • We have added many new features to our website - among them our Interactive Worldmap and Projects pages.
  • We decided to radically alter the layout of the website in order to make it visually pleasing and easier to navigate.

There's something about the website I still don't understand

If you have read our help page and still have a question then you can always click here to go to our "Contact Webmaster" page and then fill out the form with your contact information and your question.
