Prayerline Letter

I am very excited about your desire to push for finishing the task! I want to have a part in this effort!! Praying that the task will soon be done!! Until there is a witness for Christ in every nation.

— Jean P.

After recent scandals, I have become skeptical of the native missionary movement. I have been supporting native missionaries for decades now, but these scandals have really burnt my trust. Thank you for addressing trust and accountability in Prayerline letter.

— Jann F., IL

I pray that every need will be met. Our God is able to multiply every gift. Praise His wonderful Name.

— Nina S., CA

God is so good to allow me to have a part of Christian Aid’s ministry in reaching out to so many who are sharing Christ, touching lives, meeting needs and being faithful servants of our blessed Lord and Savior!

From Our President

August 2017

The reports we’re receiving from our ministry partners on the field continue to confirm an exciting fact: revival is happening in the unlikeliest places.

Like Iran—home of the fastest growing evangelical church in the world.

Less than 10 years ago, a tenacious, hardworking ministry translated the entire Bible into the Farsi language. When asked if the revival in Iran was due to their work to translate and distribute Farsi Bibles, one of the ministry leaders provided an interesting response.

The Bibles are simply meeting a demand for God’s Word among Iranians—a demand that only God’s Spirit could have created.

God is responsible for the open hearts in Iran, he said; we just happened to be in the right place at the right time.

I can’t help but feel the same way: we just happen to be in the right place at the right time.

Never before has there been such openness to and demand for the Word of God.

The timing is right, and so is the place.

Christian Aid Mission is strategically positioned for such a time as this. We assist more than 500 indigenous ministries in countries overrun by false religions and demonic practices.

Your partnership with us means that you can provide Bibles to people living in countries most difficult to reach with the gospel. You can put Truth into the hands of people hungering and thirsting after righteousness.

Because of supporters like you, Mauricio, a convicted criminal and drug addict, found hope in the pages of God’s Word. Native missionaries gave him a Bible during one of their visits to a prison in Ecuador. It wasn’t long before Mauricio joined the Bible study they started for inmates.

“As I read the Bible, I can see the Lord changing my mentality and behavior regarding drug addiction,” he said.

Among Christian inmates, there is no fighting or drug use; their new lives in Christ have become a witness to other prisoners, guards, and government officials.

Isn’t it exciting to play a part in God’s plan?

He is responsible for opening people’s hearts to His Word. Our task is simply to get His Word to those people!

Together, we can make the most of being in the right place at the right time in history.

Until there is a witness for Christ in every nation,

PS: This month, I’ve added a place on the reply card where you can contribute to Christian Aid Mission’s Bible fund, which will be designated proportionately among the indigenous ministries we assist overseas…so that people who hunger for Truth will be filled.
