Today's Prayer Request
Freeing the captives
AFRICA. Heartbreaking stories and pictures overwhelm us as we hear of women and children brutalized and sold into slavery, endless wars, famine, flooding, starvation and rampant disease. What can we do? Pray for and support native missionaries who joyfully sacrifice their lives to bring physical and material relief while they are preaching the gospel to the poor, proclaiming spiritual deliverance, healing the brokenhearted, and opening the prison of those who are in bondage. Prayerfully consider sponsoring indigenous missionaries in Africa.

We seek to establish a witness for our Lord Jesus among unreached people groups by assisting highly effective native missionaries in poorer countries who already know the languages and culture and are getting the job done for less cost.

SOME Christians in Africa have a reputation of being on fire for the Lord, but indigenous ministries helped by Christian Aid are looking for more than short-lasting emotions and enthusiasm. They are committed to making disciples who make disciples, who make disciples. This is the key to spiritual work that lasts. Read story.

Some indigenous ministries have found an effective way to reach Muslims for Christ within Islamic countries. They provide safe, affordable housing for young women who are attending state universities. Read story.
