About Angola

Angola is an African country located along the Southern Atlantic coast. It is home to 57 different people groups with only 1 considered unreached by the Joshua Project. Angola is still suffering from the effects of a war which only ended in 2002. The largest people group is the Umbundu, 96% of who claim to be Christian.

Angola´s Christian population has survived decades of Marxist rule but many congregations have been influenced by false doctrine and Animist beliefs.
