About Maldives

The Maldives is a group of 1,200 coral atolls off the West coast of India, only 202 of the atolls are inhabited. There are 4 People Groups, all are considered unreached according to the Joshua Project. The largest People Groups is the indigenous Maldivians who are nominally Shafiite Muslims though many of them believe in pre-Islamic cult practices called fanditha.
