About Moldova

Moldova is a landlocked republic between the Ukraine and Romania. It is home to 26 People Groups, 7 of whom remain unreached according to the Joshua Project. Traditionally Moldova is thought to have been named after a princes´ hunting dog who drowned in the river. Moldova faces many challenges such as an entrenched Orthodox Church more concerned with retaining its prestige than with evangelism, a breakaway region tacitly supported by Russia and a high degree of human trafficking.
