About Poland

Poland is a former satellite republic of the Soviet Union who regained their independence in 1989. It is home to 32 People Groups, 5 of whom remain unreached according to the Joshua Project. Catholicism is deeply ingrained in the Polish character but its hold on the nation´s youth is slipping.

Christian Aid supports indigenous missionaries who are struggling to bring a born-again faith to many of the lapsed Christians.
