The UAE is a collection of seven emirates located on the Arabian Penninsula; it is home to 34 People Groups, 29 of whom remain unreached according to the Joshua Project. The UAE has changed greatly in just a few decades, modernizing rapidly. While converting from Islam is still illegal there is a remarkable degree of religious freedom otherwise. The UAE is home to a large workforce of varied ethnicities, many of whom are illegal immigrants. The immigrant population faces many tribulations in the UAE and has proven receptive to the peace that Jesus Christ brings.
