Bedouin Man and Camel

Bedouins are semi-nomadic people who traditionally live on the outskirts of Arabic society herding animals. In fact, the Arabic word Bedouin means “those of the desert,” as this ethnic group has spent many years dwelling in the desert. Indigenous ministry groups feel called to reach these reclusive people through various projects such as: providing medical clinics, reaching out to Bedouin children, helping Bedouin widows start-up small businesses to provide for themselves, and providing veterinary care for their precious livestock.
