To the Ends of the Earth

Reclusive mountain tribes living in Tajikistan have had little or no exposure to the gospel. Their religious beliefs combine Sunni Islam with traditional animist practices. Despite persecution, about 30 underground evangelical churches are active in the country. A ministry assisted by Christian Aid in Central Asia is spearheading efforts to train indigenous missionaries in Tajikistan and to share the good news among Tajik peoples living in neighboring Afghanistan.
