Reaching the Lost in Rajasthan

Missionaries serving in the remote areas between southern Rajasthan and Gujarat know what it means to get a good workout. The hilly, forested terrain in this part of northwestern India makes travel difficult. Sometimes the best way to travel is on foot, or preferably, motorcycle. A native ministry assisted by Christian Aid Mission is reaching out to the Bhils and Garasias tribal peoples who live in virtual isolation from the outside world. Gospel workers began reaching out to villagers about 15 years ago, and gradually won their trust by installing tube wells, feeding the poor, and offering vocational training. As a result, people are turning to Christ and churches have been planted.
