Providing Medical Aid to the Samburu

The semi-nomadic culture of Kenya´s Samburu people limits their access to doctors and medical facilities. Although the government has attempted to expand vaccination programs and other services, many rural areas are still underserved. With assistance from Christian Aid Mission, a local ministry is reaching out to the Samburu by providing basic medicines. At great risk to their own lives, gospel workers travel through dangerous areas to proclaim the message of spiritual healing and forgiveness of sin through the Great Physician, Jesus Christ. Some of these missionaries, themselves members of the Samburu tribe, are seeing a great harvest as they evangelize their own people and plant churches.
