Building Bridges

More than 20,000 Syrian refugees are seeking a fresh start in Greece. Assimilation is difficult, but a ministry assisted by Christian Aid Mission is helping refugees with both practical and spiritual needs. The ministry hosts a monthly fellowship meal that draws about 150 people. They also distribute food packages, help cover medical expenses, and distribute New Testaments and tracts. “We want to make their transition from the war to their new lives as safe as it can be, and we want to offer ourselves as bridges to faith, church, and agencies that can satisfy some of these needs,” said the ministry´s leader. “Our vision is to leave them with such a mark of love, relationship, and help that they will trust their lives to Jesus forever.”
