Children´s Outreach in Uyurpampa

New Life Evangelistic Ministry (NLEM) provides a meal every Sunday for about 100 children from poor families in the Uyurpampa, Reque, and Monsefu communities of northeastern Peru. The ministry also started a Christian kindergarten. However, education and feeding programs are just one facet of NLEM´s outreach to children. NLEM seeks to provide spiritual food for boys and girls that will impact them for the rest of their lives. Through Vacation Bible Schools and other programs, many youngsters receive Christ and share their faith with their parents. Christian Aid Mission donors have assisted NLEM by providing children´s Bibles, school supplies, shoes, and clothing. In addition to its work with children, this thriving indigenous ministry broadcasts a radio program, hosts evangelistic crusades, and has planted over 200 churches throughout Peru.
