Water of Love

Children who have seen the horrors of war in Syria are recovering some semblance of childhood in Turkey after receiving notebooks, pencils and crayons, along with urgently needed clean water and other basic items, an indigenous ministry leader reported. "The people say that, 'The children are finally able to begin acting like children again,'" he said. Some of children's fathers have been killed by Islamic State militants and other terrorists, while others have lost relatives to Syrian government forces or Russian bombs, he said. "My prayer for them is that Jesus Christ will bring about real change in their lives and protect them from all evil," the director said. "Through your gifts, you are giving these refugee children the food they need, you are helping to fill their stomachs, and you are giving them shoes. You are feeding these people both physical and spiritually."
