Waiting for Life

Families who have fled terrorists and war in Syria await sorely needed survival supplies at a makeshift camp in Turkey. Refugees recently received food boxes, baby formula, diapers and shoes, the leader of a ministry in Turkey said. "Sisters carried their 4-month-old brother to us, and they told us this baby boy had nothing to eat," he said. "Mothers were bringing their babies to us to bring milk for them." Ministry workers delivered supplies to various camps in boxes that included clean water and Arabic-language Bibles. "You should see how happy they were when they saw us with the boxes," the leader said. "Especially mothers and children were so happy. I wish you could come and deliver the boxes with us, so you can be witness to how they act when they receive the boxes. Then you could feel how we feel when we are helping them."
