Christian workers in the Philippines rely on motorcycles to get them to remote jungle villages where the name of Christ is not known. A ministry native to the Philippines not only provides motorcycles to evangelists but teaches them how to maintain them. "If they break down in the mountains, you can't push it down to the lowlands for repairs," the indigenous ministry director said. "You have to be trained to do it yourself. In fact, we've even remodeled some motorcycles to become stronger." The ministry sends native missionaries to live in tribal communities where they set up social and community projects, teach the Bible chronologically, translate Scripture into local dialects and train leaders to make disciples.
