Open air baptism in Ecuador.

Enthroning the King

New Christians in Ecuador celebrate their rebirth with praises following baptism in the open air. An indigenous ministry that has been planting churches in the country for 23 years recently carried out an evangelistic outreach that saw 14 people place their faith in Christ. "We thank God for this harvest," the ministry director said. "We are working to teach the Bible and disciple the new believers." The ministry reaches neighborhoods through small groups meeting in homes, where workers can share about Jesus with relatives and guests. "We also continue working with young people to motivate them to take responsibility for the gospel work," the director said. "They can serve Him through music and in evangelism at parks in the city, besides inviting friends to the Bible home groups." Please consider a gift to enable indigenous gospel workers with scant financial resources to be salt and light in their communities.
