The Higaonon

The Higaonon are an indigenous tribe of some 350,000 people who live in the northern provinces of the island of Mindanao in the Philippines. Their name means “people of the living mountains.” Christian Aid Mission assists a ministry that provides outreach to the Higaonon. This church was built in the mountains of Agusan del Norte province.
