Pray for Ministry Needs

Below is a small sampling of the many ministry needs that Christian Aid is currently involved in helping.

Villager standing next to new well provided by ChristiansVietnam

In many villages, Christians are denied access to local wells. Many are in desperate need of clean drinking water. One local government has promised access to clean water to any Christians who deny Christ. Christian Aid seeks to provide these believers with their own well ($700 for an electric well pump). Pray that they remain steadfast in the face of this persecution. To contribute, click here...

Girl riding carabaoPhilippines

Some of the pastors working with Public Preaching Ministry have left their villages to start churches in new regions. Because they no longer own land or animals, they must earn a living by plowing local farmers’ lands. Join them in praying for the water buffalos (untrained: $270, trained: $500) needed to begin plowing. To contribute, click here...

Native missionaries have opened a feeding center for malnourished Ashaninka children in a remote jungle region. The ministry needs $400 a month to support the center. Pray that they will be able to share the gospel and reach families in that area. To contribute, click here...

Missionaries Aiman Sunar and his wife in front of their home in NepalNepal

Many village missionaries are without support, facing persecution and ostracism from their families, and yet are successful in establishing churches. Many such leaders need training and support ($50 a month) to continue working in areas where no foreign missionaries are allowed. Pray that the Lord will open the hearts of the people of Nepal. Siberia
Siberian believers in prayer
During the past year, missionaries in central and eastern Siberia experienced increased persecution from the local government. They continue to use what little resources they have to spread the gospel and plant churches. $50 a month will provide support for one missionary. Pray for their safety. To contribute, click here...

Ministry leader with nomadic family in MongoliaMongolia

A ministry in Mongolia heavily subsidizes the books it sells so as to make them affordable to the needy people in this area. Each Bible costs them $10, which they resell for $3. Added to this are the costs of distribution, transportation and staffing. CCM sells around 2,000 Bibles a year. Pray that God will bless their faithfulness with the provisions necessary to continue their outreach. To contribute, click here...

A ministry in Egypt distributes Bibles ($5 each) free of charge to anyone interested in receiving one. The response has been encouraging, as many are eager to receive their free copy. Pray that God will open the hearts of those who are reading the Bible for the first time. To contribute, click here...

Mr. Sawmngir and his goat, provided to him by native missionariesBangladesh

Ministry leaders continue to look for ways to help new believers who are disowned by their families and villages because of their faith. Providing missionary families with five to 10 goats ($200 for 10 goats) has been a very effective way of helping to supply them with income. A missionary’s wife can support her family while her husband is sharing the gospel during the day. To contribute, click here...

Mr. Sawmngir and his goat, provided to him by native missionariesBenin

An indigenous ministry is grateful to a Christian Aid donor who gave $3,000 to send 15 missionary graduates of one of five Schools of Missions to the vast unreached northern fields. The ministry leader asks that we join them in praying for funds to send 50 more missionary families throughout the country. To contribute, click here...

Invest wisely. Send an indigenous missionary.
Christian Aid seeks to establish a witness for our Lord Jesus among unreached people groups
by assisting highly effective native missionaries who already know the languages and culture
and are getting the job done for less cost.
