Thanking God for this ministry, His work and for His beloved children.

— Allison M., MI

Thank you for helping us know how to pray for our brothers and sisters in other countries.

— David and Leota S., CA

You have a great ministry. We are very proud of all of you.

— Owen & Lora Faye M., MO

May the Lord answer all your prayers and supply your need! Bless you and your families, strengthen and heal. We pray regularly for our sponsored child, the mission, and all the people of CAM – God bless. God is faithful.

— Jim and Judy, TN

“I put you on facebook because I want people to know what a terrific organization this is. Even when I write you back with a prayer request, you personally write back . Other organizations don't do this. You care for people groups that other mission organizations can't go into. You teach and support native missionaries and families who make way less than other groups. The goal is to preach THE WORD to everyone. GOD continue to bless you.”

—Mary S. P.

Church Planting among the Kurdish, Shiite and Sunni Muslims in Iraq

The purpose of Shinar Mission (SM) is to reach Muslims in Iraq and other Muslim countries with the Gospel. There are 1.3 billion Muslims around the world (almost one-fifth of the world population); Islam is the fastest growing religion in the world.

They do this in several ways:

Distributing Bibles in schools, universities, on the streets, and to traditional churches which have never allowed their people to have Bibles. SM has already distributed about 250,000 Bibles. They find that school children are eager to receive Bibles and their parents are excited that their children bring them home for all to read. Presently there is very great openness among the Muslims in Iraq to the Bible and to the Gospel. Muslims on the streets are grateful to receive Bibles and cause no problems. Since more than half of the population are teenagers or younger, Shinar Mission is eager to reach young people with the Gospel. They are allowed to enter schools and to give out Bibles and Gospel literature and they have permission to give Bibles to one million school children.

Bibles are an effective tool for reaching Muslims with the gospel. Muslims have been taught that the Bible has been corrupted. Yet they are curious about a Book that they are warned not to read.

Church Planting
There is amazing openness among the Muslims to the Gospel. They ask permission to bring their families, friends, and neighbors to the churches of Shinar Mission. They have never heard anything like the Gospel. The initial goal is to plant churches in each major city in Iraq.

The Bible Training Center is preparing believers to take spiritual leadership and to reach Iraq with the Gospel.
