A refugee from war in Syria washes clothes at a makeshift camp in southern Turkey, where thousands of people fleeing atrocities by the Islamic State and others continue to arrive. The leader of a ministry based in Tukey reported refugees were grateful to receive food, water, clothing and other aid made possible by donors to Christian Aid Mission. "We got the help you provided to the needy people as quickly as possible," he said. "And we are thankful that 150 more are now seeking to know more about Him. These numbers are amazing to us, and we believe that even more people can be reached. So far about 100 people have accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior and have been baptized." The ministry has served about 6,000 refugees in the last two and a half years. "The situation of the refugees here is getting worse every day, and they are worried about their lives," the director said. "It would be very beneficial if we could provide a more extensive aid program."

Christian Aid Mission is a 60-year-old non-profit organization that equips native missionaries around the world. We serve as a non-denominational foreign mission board that assists more than 500 ministries overseas with tens of thousands of indigenous or native missionaries in the field. These ministries are currently engaging more than 1,000 unreached people groups in more than 100 countries around the world. Our mission is to establish a witness for our Lord in every tribe and nation (Matthew 24:14) by assisting highly effective native missionaries and our focus is on reaching the unreached for Christ in areas in the world where there is no witness for Christ, where foreign missionaries are not allowed, or where Christians suffer because of poverty or persecution. Christian Aid Mission is generally considered to be the first U.S. organization to assist and promote native missionaries overseas. Since 1997, Christian Aid has been a member of the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA).

Missions Insider Report is a free email report from Christian Aid, your link to indigenous missionary ministries based in poorer countries overseas, or where evangelical Christians are a persecuted minority. Please pray for these and other indigenous ministries.
