Everything on the Table

A doctor attends a small child from a displaced family in Iraq at a mobile medical clinic made possible by assistance from Christian Aid Mission donors. Following a nine-month military campaign that drove nearly 900,000 people from their homes, on July 10 the Iraqi government declared U.S.-backed Iraqi forces had retaken Mosul, a major city captured by Islamic State terrorists three years ago. An indigenous ministry has staffed the mobile medical clinic with several doctors who treat people from the van or in designated locations around Dohuk. The mobile clinic provides medicines and treatment for Yazidis, Muslims and Christians in remote mountains of northern Iraq. "More than 20 men and women volunteer to see the patients, pray with them, talk to them about Christ and distribute tracts and Bibles," the ministry director said. "It improves the overall health of the Internally Displaced People and shows the love of Christ in word and deed." The ministry welcomes your gift for continued medical care.

Christian Aid Mission is a 60-year-old non-profit organization that equips native missionaries around the world. We serve as a non-denominational foreign mission board that assists more than 500 ministries overseas with tens of thousands of indigenous or native missionaries in the field. These ministries are currently engaging more than 1,000 unreached people groups in more than 100 countries around the world. Our mission is to establish a witness for our Lord in every tribe and nation (Matthew 24:14) by assisting highly effective native missionaries and our focus is on reaching the unreached for Christ in areas in the world where there is no witness for Christ, where foreign missionaries are not allowed, or where Christians suffer because of poverty or persecution. Christian Aid Mission is generally considered to be the first U.S. organization to assist and promote native missionaries overseas. Since 1997, Christian Aid has been a member of the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA).

Missions Insider Report is a free email report from Christian Aid, your link to indigenous missionary ministries based in poorer countries overseas, or where evangelical Christians are a persecuted minority. Please pray for these and other indigenous ministries.
