Hope for the Hungry

Syrian refugee children in Turkey, here clamoring for relief items from an indigenous ministry, are becoming increasingly desperate. Following the recent bulldozing of their tents by Turkish authorities, dozens of families, along with widows, orphans, seniors and single people, are homeless. "We are now at a place where we are begging," a refugee told an indigenous ministry leader providing relief items. "We are going door-to-door, and they are closing the doors in our faces. You have helped us all these years, and that is why we are begging you now to help us. Our health is getting steadily worse, and it is made worse because we cannot find enough food." Please consider a gift to help indigenous ministry workers provide food, water, blankets and other relief items to refugees facing hostilities in Turkey.

Christian Aid Mission is a 60-year-old non-profit organization that equips native missionaries around the world. We serve as a non-denominational foreign mission board that assists more than 500 ministries overseas with tens of thousands of indigenous or native missionaries in the field. These ministries are currently engaging more than 1,000 unreached people groups in more than 100 countries around the world. Our mission is to establish a witness for our Lord in every tribe and nation (Matthew 24:14) by assisting highly effective native missionaries and our focus is on reaching the unreached for Christ in areas in the world where there is no witness for Christ, where foreign missionaries are not allowed, or where Christians suffer because of poverty or persecution. Christian Aid Mission is generally considered to be the first U.S. organization to assist and promote native missionaries overseas. Since 1997, Christian Aid has been a member of the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA).

Missions Insider Report is a free email report from Christian Aid, your link to indigenous missionary ministries based in poorer countries overseas, or where evangelical Christians are a persecuted minority. Please pray for these and other indigenous ministries.
