Syrian refugees watching JESUS film in Greece.

Sin and Cinema

Syrian refugees watch the Jesus Film, screened by an indigenous ministry in Athens, Greece. The ministry's co-leaders, both fluent in Arabic, spread the gospel by other means as well, alongside distribution of food and other relief items, and they have seen many Muslims put their faith in Christ. "Our joy increases greatly when we see the kingdom of God growing so much," one co-director said. "Please pray with us, as the numbers we are receiving are growing and growing, and also pray for us to reap the ripe harvest that God has entrusted us with." To help bring life eternal to refugees, please consider a gift through Christian Aid Mission.

Christian Aid Mission is a 60-year-old non-profit organization that equips native missionaries around the world. We serve as a non-denominational foreign mission board that assists more than 500 ministries overseas with tens of thousands of indigenous or native missionaries in the field. These ministries are currently engaging more than 1,000 unreached people groups in more than 100 countries around the world. Our mission is to establish a witness for our Lord in every tribe and nation (Matthew 24:14) by assisting highly effective native missionaries and our focus is on reaching the unreached for Christ in areas in the world where there is no witness for Christ, where foreign missionaries are not allowed, or where Christians suffer because of poverty or persecution. Christian Aid Mission is generally considered to be the first U.S. organization to assist and promote native missionaries overseas. Since 1997, Christian Aid has been a member of the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA).

Missions Insider Report is a free email report from Christian Aid, your link to indigenous missionary ministries based in poorer countries overseas, or where evangelical Christians are a persecuted minority. Please pray for these and other indigenous ministries.
