Gutted Lives

Many displaced Iraqis returning to their apartments following the defeat of the Islamic State found the terrorists had gutted their homes. An indigenous ministry is helping displaced, kidnapped and raped people whose lives will no longer be the same. "Some of them had family members killed, and others found themselves living in the streets," the ministry director said. "There are homeless children and widows with children. There are many stories and tragedies that we hear and see every day, and the best thing we can do is introduce them to the Great Doctor, the Healer and Savior." The ministry seeks assistance to help people rebuild their homes, provide for their basic needs and purchase Bibles for them. Please consider a gift to allow Iraqi Christian workers to restore and regenerate their countrymen.

Christian Aid Mission is a 60-year-old non-profit organization that equips native missionaries around the world. We serve as a non-denominational foreign mission board that assists more than 500 ministries overseas with tens of thousands of indigenous or native missionaries in the field. These ministries are currently engaging more than 1,000 unreached people groups in more than 100 countries around the world. Our mission is to establish a witness for our Lord in every tribe and nation (Matthew 24:14) by assisting highly effective native missionaries and our focus is on reaching the unreached for Christ in areas in the world where there is no witness for Christ, where foreign missionaries are not allowed, or where Christians suffer because of poverty or persecution. Christian Aid Mission is generally considered to be the first U.S. organization to assist and promote native missionaries overseas. Since 1997, Christian Aid has been a member of the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA).

Missions Insider Report is a free email report from Christian Aid, your link to indigenous missionary ministries based in poorer countries overseas, or where evangelical Christians are a persecuted minority. Please pray for these and other indigenous ministries.
