It's Harvest Time in China

December 7, 2011

House churches are exploding in growth throughout China. Millions have accepted Christ as Saviour and most are winning others.

Church growth has itself become a problem. Congregations have grown so fast that they can't possibly meet in houses. They are having to construct auditoriums seating up to 2000 believers so all those in a given neighborhood can meet together. But many of these large churches have been closed down by Communist bureaucrats.

Dr. Freddie Sun, China Director for Christian Aid, has visited hundreds of these churches and distributed funds to help them train Bible teachers and build meeting places. Christian Aid is now supporting Bible institutes that are training native missionaries, pastors, teachers and gospel workers. About 50,000 such servants of Christ have already gone out to plant churches and help them grow in every province of China, including Tibet.
