Supplying Seed to the Sower

According to their motto, the New Life in Jesus (NLIJ) ministry´s objective is to "plant churches and transform people for Jesus in Paraguay." Founder and director Osvaldo Simari has passionately poured his life into fulfilling that mission for more than 50 years.

With help from Christian Aid, churches have been planted by faithful missionaries who receive training at NLIJ in Bible, evangelism, church administration and pastoral care. These eager gospel workers come to NLIJ to be equipped to plant and build up house churches in remote rural areas.

Evangelism is a cornerstone of this ministry. Workers are trained to present the plan of salvation and to show Jesus´ love in practical ways by meeting physical needs. The gospel is proclaimed in open air venues, on buses, in hospitals, schools and super markets. Gospel tracts are distributed and evangelistic movies and radio programs have been aired. Free medical clinics are set up to serve as demonstrations of the love of Christ.
