For Greece, War in Syria is Not Winding Down

Three young adults from the war-wracked city of Afrin, Syria evaded indiscriminate gunfire from Turkish border agents before they ran through Turkey to get to Greece. Turkey had seized their home city. Native missionaries in Greece are trying to meet a growing surge of needs as battles rage on in Syria. Thousands of refugees are continuing to stream into Greece, where the native ministry provides food, funds for shelter and points them toward legal assistance, but recently needs have outstripped supplies.
