Sunday, February 20 – Greece
The economic hardship that so many are suffering is even sharper for refugees from areas of conflict in the Middle East and Africa. Local ministry leaders know Arabic and a few other languages but rely on interpreters to translate for many refugees in need of assistance with legal matters, housing and education for their children. Your donations enabled the ministry to sustain interpreters, many of them refugees themselves, to help new arrivals survive and obtain asylum. Workers also rely on donations of $35 or $70 to provide food and help cover medical expenses, including COVID-19 tests, for refugees. Pray the Lord will continue to bring refugees to faith and sustain the ministry.
“The LORD gives his people strength. The LORD blesses them with peace.” (Psalm 29:11)
