Thursday, February 3 – Brazil
In spite of tribal opposition, criminals and COVID-19, the gospel is moving forward. Workers are holding remote, online Bible studies as they disciple several tribal people from various villages who recently accepted Christ. One ethnic group that had long resisted the gospel has come to the Lord, and they recently held a celebration of thanksgiving for an offering that local missionaries sent. After the praise, testimonies and preaching, six new Christians were baptized. Workers rely on donations for the tools, materials and training to bring the gospel to remote people and disciple those who believe. Pray for the security and faith of villagers attacked by gold miners and drug traffickers.
