Tuesday, February 1 – China
Pandemic lockdowns have caused incomes to nosedive, diminishing churches’ ability to support workers at a Christian pre-school serving children of local missionaries and other low-income kids. Teachers have continued to serve faithfully without complaining in spite of gashes to their income. Workers at the school are helping parents who have lost jobs to maintain emotional stability, which in turn has helped their children to flourish academically and spiritually. Local missionaries need donations of $30 or $60 to cover costs of pre-school education and maintain teachers’ modest salaries. Pray the Lord will speak into the emotional pressures coming to bear on teachers and parents.
“And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever.” (John 14:16)
