A Muslim divorced his wife because she and their daughter put their faith in Christ Jesus, and the mother and child are facing such dangerous threats from Muslims that local missionaries have to move them from one location to another. The 11-year-old daughter became a follower of Christ through the children’s outreach of the local ministry; her father planned to take her back when she turns 12 and force her to convert back to Islam. Local missionaries who expect to help 80 to 100 such persecuted families over the course of a year need donations for transportation, lodging and other emergency help for them. Pray for safety and strength for both workers and the persecuted.
“So if you are suffering in a manner that pleases God, keep on doing what is right, and trust your lives to the God who created you, for he will never fail you.” (1 Peter 4:19)
