The few Syrian refugees who have been able to find work have seen purchasing power dwindle due to spikes in inflation. “Refugees living in the camps are in difficult conditions and need our help more than ever, as in the past three months the price of basic food has increased by between 40 percent and 80 percent,” a local ministry leader said. Desperate refugee families are even more tempted to flee to other countries, where they would face health risks and dangers from human traffickers. Local missionaries need donations of $35 or $70 to provide them food, clothing and other aid. Pray that refugees will receive life-saving aid along with eternal life.
