The gospel is spreading in this 57-percent Muslim country despite COVID-19 as local missionaries reach people through social media. One Muslim responded to a worker on Facebook, saying the Bible had changed his life. “I had been a practicing Muslim, but when I read the Bible, I understood who Jesus Christ is,” the young man wrote. “Now I read only the Bible, and I believe it alone is the Word of God.” Local missionaries are also proclaiming Christ through Instagram and WhatsApp, as well as in children’s camps and Bible distributions, and they need donations to carry out such evangelism and discipleship. Pray workers will receive wisdom about how best to proclaim Christ.
