Friday, April 29 – Europe
When more than 4,000 refugee minors from Africa and elsewhere began arriving at a European port, local missionaries helped about 100 of them daily with food, clothes and hygiene items. Workers also opened a day center, meeting kids’ physical and spiritual needs; more than 1,000 minors accepted Christ. Elsewhere, 120 people fleeing areas of conflict in Africa, many of them from unreached tribes, recently received aid and the gospel at the ministry’s center for refugees. Local missionaries throughout Europe need donations of $35 or $70 to meet critical needs. Pray for wisdom and resources for workers to meet the many challenges that refugees face.
“In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’” (Acts 20:35)
