Thusday, April 7 - Burma
A local missionary who nearly died from COVID-19 last year later teamed up with his wife to plant a church, inviting people to study the Bible at his house and seeing 23 people put their faith in Christ. Another evangelist invited people to his home for dinner every weekend and saw 14 of them accept the Lord’s salvation. At the same time, local missionaries provided food and other aid to poor people suffering from the pandemic and the 2021 coup, while others met the needs of villagers displaced by military conflict. These and other local missionaries need donations of $60 or $120 for their monthly upkeep. They request prayer to reach more people with aid and the gospel.
“For this I toil, struggling with all his energy that he powerfully works within me.” (Col. 1:29)
