Equip Gospel Workers

Saturday, May 21 – Burundi

Under shelter of palm trees, a fellowship of three people that a local missionary planted grew to 20 members in three months. The church is located in a Muslim area, and other workers also established two churches among Muslims; 29 new Christians were baptized and are studying God’s Word along with others. Local missionaries in another village saw five Muslims come to Christ. “Since then, the new believers are growing spiritually,” the ministry leader said. “We formed them into prayer cells, and their lives are being transformed day by day.” Donations of $25 or $50 are sought for such evangelism and discipleship efforts. Pray for the Lord’s protection over new Christians.

“…And my message and my preaching were not in persuasive words of wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power…” (1 Cor. 2:4)
