In a country with an anti-religion history and a majority-Muslim population, local missionaries are in prime position to share the gospel in a complex culture. From conversations that grow from distributing New Testaments to summer camps for children, the message of salvation is spreading to people who have never known the historical, biblical Jesus. Muslims and others are also hearing the gospel through workers’ use of Facebook, phone texts and Instagram amid the pandemic. Local missionaries need donations to carry out such evangelism and discipleship. Pray the Holy Spirit would go before workers sharing the Word of God.
“Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.’” (John 14:6)
