Monday, June 6 - Europe
A sizeable number of refugees are unaccompanied minors. Local missionaries at one European port recently provided food, clothes and hygiene items to about 100 minors per day who arrived from troubled countries in Africa and other areas. When workers opened a day center to meet their physical and spiritual needs, they reached more than 1,000 minors with the gospel. A local ministry’s center for refugees also provided aid and the gospel to 120 people fleeing military conflict in Africa, including many from unreached tribes. Donations of $35 or $70 are sought for local missionaries to meet refugees’ basic needs in Christ’s name. Pray for provision and protection for workers.
“For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.” (2 Cor. 7:10)
