Local missionaries have nurtured new believers online or in small groups; the number of new Christians benefiting from such training by one ministry totaled more than 300 over a period of six months. Even where evangelism was banned, workers shared the gospel at family celebrations and home fellowships. Distributing aid to those suffering from poverty, COVID-19 and natural disasters also provided opportunities to share the message of eternal life in Christ. Recently 95 people put their faith in Christ. Donations of $25 or $50 are sought for such evangelism and discipleship. Pray the Lord would show workers wisdom in how to safely proclaim and worship Him amid opposition.
