With nearly 1.2 million Internally Displaced People, Iraq has one of the highest numbers of IDPs in the world. Various military conflicts persist, depriving people of their homes and businesses, in addition to those who remain homeless from the prior occupation of the Islamic State (ISIS). Local missionaries feel privileged to be able to provide food, clean water, clothing and health care, along with encouragement from the Bible. Many of the displaced also receive help from local missionaries to repair and restore damaged homes. Workers rely on donations of $35 or $70 to bring such aid to the displaced. Pray for broken lives to be restored and transformed.
