Provide for Worker Upkeep

Sunday, June 26 - Lebanon

About 3 million people, or 78 percent of the population, live below the poverty line, and nearly a quarter of the country’s people cannot meet their food needs. Local missionaries weathering the effects of Lebanon’s economic collapse are striving to meet the needs of others; they provide food boxes for an average 1,800 families every month. At the same time, workers are focused on proclaiming the message of salvation in Christ through both evangelistic and social outreaches, including a literacy program for refugees. Donations are sought for local missionaries’ living expenses as they serve others. Pray they will be encouraged amid difficult circumstances.

“For the needy will not always be forgotten, Nor the hope of the afflicted perish forever.” (Psalm 9:18)
