Qualified leaders were able to guide and disciple new churches thanks to officially recognized training they received from a native ministry. Workers offered the theological training through an extension program offered through 12 centers. At the same time, local missionaries brought crucial aid to nearly 900 people suffering from leprosy in 27 villages, while others provided relief items to families of Christians imprisoned for their faith. Workers also provided aid and the gospel to a border area with Laos. Donations of $60 or $120 are sought for local missionaries’ monthly upkeep. Pray more people will come to saving faith in spite of legal and cultural barriers.
