Visiting new Christians among the ethnic Lisu in their homes, local missionaries taught biblical truths and deepened their faith through a series of questions and answers. At the same time, workers recently visited unsaved families, sharing the gospel with them and planting eight churches. Amid pandemic restrictions, some leaders divided larger churches into small groups where topical studies and discussions were the focus, with members saying the format helped them to know, follow and love God more deeply. Local missionaries need donations for such evangelism and discipleship. Pray a spirit of love and unity will prevail in the churches.
“Grace, mercy, and peace, which come from God the Father and from Jesus Christ—the Son of the Father—will continue to be with us who live in truth and love.” (2 John 1:3)
