Provide Bibles to the Unreached in Africa

October 8

People are receiving Bibles in their native tongues of Swahili, French, Chichewa and Tumbuka, among others, and more copies are needed by both new Christians, displaced people and refugees. At a recent meeting in one south African country, a ministry leader led seven adults to Christ after handing out Bibles, and children also rejoiced to have Scripture in their own language. Local missionaries traveling hours over difficult terrain are bringing God’s Word to unreached people. Workers need donations of $24 or $48 to make Scripture in the heart languages of various peoples available. Pray that everyone desiring a Bible will be able to obtain one.

“Philip ran up and heard him reading Isaiah the prophet, and said, ‘Do you understand what you are reading?’” (Acts 8:30)
