In spite of obstacles, the gospel is reaching remote corners of the country; in one area, seven people were baptized after local missionaries led them to faith in Christ. Pastors minister to church members through home visits where COVID-19 restrictions or tight controls have forced Christians to stop meeting in large numbers, and workers also disciple believers in small groups. Ministry leaders build up church leaders through training on the importance of sharing the gospel and equipping the whole body of Christ for ministry. Donations are sought for such gospel proclamation and discipleship. Pray the Lord’s purposes will be fulfilled in spite of multiple obstacles.
“He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed.” (1 Peter 2:24)
