A 17-year-old shepherd boy whose parents died on their journey from Iraq, four minors from Syria who had nowhere to sleep and a 26-year-old mother of seven whose husband abandoned her are among the refugees who have fled strife-torn homelands seeking recovery in Europe. Local missionaries meet their initial needs for food, clothing and medicines, and then help them find shelter and other services, obtain legal status and adjust to new cultures. For many, the assistance is crucial for survival. Workers seek donations of $35 or $70 to meet urgent needs in Christ’s name and help refugees begin new lives. Pray local missionaries will be kept safe from the pandemic and persecution.
“And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.” (Luke 2:12)
