December 7
Some refugees from Iraq, Syria, Yemen and Somalia are unable to return home because war and criminality have deprived them of home and work, while others wait for improvement in their homelands. They rely on local missionaries to keep their families alive with food, blankets, diapers, medicines, school supplies, and help with school fees and rent. In some areas, workers also provide aid to nationals impoverished by the pandemic, economic collapse or war, and poor children and refugees receive Christmas boxes. Workers rely on donations of $35 or $70 to provide such aid. Pray the meaning of Christ’s birth would emerge amid the dark.
