In a country with a poverty rate of 42 percent, local missionaries recently selected the most vulnerable children from 24 families and provided maize, rice and funds for school fees. Refugees from neighboring countries who had lost all possessions also received aid, with workers supplying 100-kilogram bags of millet and survival funds to 22 families. “These families were very grateful, and this gesture was a great trigger that disposes them to listen to the gospel,” the ministry leader said. Donations are sought to provide such compassionate aid to Chad’s impoverished people and refugees. Pray that more people will recover their dignity and find a path to recovery.
